CyberExtension™ Key FeaturesFlexible, managed web-based learning environment
Our CyberExtension™ Virtual Managed Learning Environment (VMLE) requires no setup or installation by the customer and is hosted on our servers, thus eliminating the burden on the schools' technology employees.
Student Diagnostics
Our new Diagnostics feature gives teachers and districts the ability to assess, diagnose, and remediate your student population. Using standards-based assessment tools our platform can pinpoint weaknesses that students have and create an individualized learning plan for each student. This feature also assists districts in improving state assessment scores.
State Standards Curriculum Mapping
Educational standards are an important part of the learning process. They ensure that a school's curriculum is actually teaching the materials that students should be learning. CyberExtension™ implements a first-of-its-kind system in which each and every lesson in the system is mapped to one or more educational standards. As a result, CyberExtension™ lessons meet the exact same educational standards that your existing in-class lessons do.
Advanced Scheduler and Event Manager
We’ve incorporated a calendar control that includes reminders, assignment tracking, and multiple levels of events, such as class, district, system wide and personal.
On-Site Liaison
As part of the CyberExtension™ package we provide a certified instructor who is an expert in our system. This relationship allows us to work hand in hand with your school. We are there when you need us, to assist in the day to day running of the program.
Built-in Content Development Tools and Equation Editor
Familiar "office-like" interface. Capable of handling all web-based content: HTML, Flash®, video, and file attachments like Word®, PDF, etc. It also features MathML for the easy display of advanced equations and formulas.
Multimedia Support: Images, Animations, and Video
Content of all types can be incorporated into our system including file attachments, Macromedia Flash movies, text, Microsoft Word and HTML. Additionally, our system is extremely flexible in how content is managed. Although curriculum outlines and the content library greatly facilitate content management, they are not required in order to get up and running.
In-Lesson Translation
The CyberExtension™ now includes an in-lesson translation system. While inside of an assignment, highlight the text you want to translate, then right click and select "translate to" followed by the language of your choice.
Curriculum Management and Lesson Library
Store created lessons in a searchable library for reuse. Assign them to students as needed or create an entire curriculum.
